From different point of views Orosháza can be considered as centre of horse life in the Southern Great Plain region: there are locally bred horses winning national and international races.
On top of that the local horse club organises plenty of prestigious races and competitions year by year.

Orosháza offers a wide range of opportunities for horse riders as a hobby, mainly in the seasons of spring, summer and autumn. Ideal destinations could be Ravasz Farm, Varga Horse Farm, Mustang Sports School and Pony Club. Apart from these places horse lovers will find other opportunities as well. Not to mention the numerous shows organized each year.
