Orosh\u00e1za is situated at a distance of 180 kilometre from Budapest, on highway.<\/p>\n

The town is situated by the main road number 47, connecting Szeged to Debrecen. The heavy transit traffic is handled by the orbital motorway built around the town. The direction of the beltway is from East to West.<\/p>\n

Orosh\u00e1za can be reached by railway from several directions as the town lies at the intersection of four lines. <\/p>\n

Parking<\/h3>\n

Orosh\u00e1za is one of those rare towns where parking is free of charge all over the town. However, the traffic is balanced, there are no parking anomalies. <\/p>\n

Visitors who do not mind a few hundred meters\u2019 walk can park their car free at the car park built over the railway. It is true that cars are not in front of our eyes, but according to the last years\u2019 experience your valuables are safe, as criminal acts or car robberies are not typical of this place.
\nLocal hotels and pensions without exception provide guarded parking place to their guests.<\/p>\n

At Orosh\u00e1za there are several taxi companies and private taxis. Some of them are: Grant Taxi, the Maxi-Toyota and Andr\u00e1s Varr\u00f3 entrepreneur. Each of them can be found at the taxi station at Gy\u0151ri Vilmos square, but of course we can have a taxi called from every restaurant or hotel. The phone number of the taxi station is: +36 (68) 412-000. Even though petrol prices have reached the sky recently the local taxi fare are still reasonable. While in the capital the average fare per kilometre is 220-240 HUF, at Orosh\u00e1za fares are around 160-180HUF, at least at the beginning of the high season in 2012. <\/p>\n

It is better safe than sorry \u2013 as the old saying goes. Before going on a holiday people do not usually think of any problem that could occur, but it is good to get prepared for unexpected events. Whatever wrong thing happens to us, we can feel safe at Orosh\u00e1za. <\/p>\n

In case of an accident or medical problems you can get emergency care from the ambulance station situated in the city centre. The arriving ambulance will take the patient to hospital, where professional doctors will provide the necessary medical care. If the problem can not be solved locally an air ambulance will be called from the heliport located in Szentes, 30 km from Orosh\u00e1za, and will take the patient right away to Szeged or the capital if the situation indicates.<\/p>\n

If we become victims of a crime, we can turn to the local Police Station, which shows higher efficiency than the national average. Anyway, the local forces are prepared for the tourist season starting from spring; there is a severe police presence all over the town. <\/p>\n

If we have an accident or our valuables are damaged, we need the help of our insurance company. We can find branches of the most popular insurance companies at Orosh\u00e1za. In this way there is no obstacle in the process of immediate handling of the problem. <\/p>\n

We do hope that that problems will not occur, but as we have already mentioned in the preface: in case of unexpected events people who are spending their holiday here are not alone.<\/p>\n
